It provides fiber network systems, including optical fibers, optical fiber cables, connectivity systems and components, and active peripherals; and indoor telecom systems, such as home networking systems, broadband connectivity, copper cables, connectivity systems and components, and active peripherals. This segment's products are used for hub-to-hub connections; and in the network hubs. Its Building Solutions segment offers vision and security systems, such as systems for CCTV, video/audio analysis and detection, intercom, access control and registration, central control room integration, and healthcare systems; and connectivity systems comprising specialty cable systems for shipping, rail, infrastructure, and wind energy, as well as installation and energy cables, and structured cabling and connectivity systems for wireless energy and data distribution. This segment serves the health care, parking, shipbuilding, offshore, tunnels, and airport sectors. The company's Industrial Solutions segment develops, produces, and supplies tire manufacturing production systems for the car and truck tire manufacturing industries; can washers, testing equipment, and product handling systems for the medical industry; machine operating systems; and specialty cable systems and modules for the medical, robotics, automotive, and machine building industries.
