It operates through Advanced Materials and Electrical Power segments. The Advanced Materials segment offers anticorrosion equipment, graphite specialties, and power transfer technologies. The Electrical Power segment provides power management solutions, and electrical protection and control products. Its products include anticorrosion equipment, such as heat exchangers; columns, reactors, and pressure vessels; Graphilor graphite bursting discs; piping and fitting; corrosion resistant materials; process technologies; and after-sales and maintenance services for anticorrosion equipment, as well as and technical solutions for motor and generator applications comprising carbon brushes, brush-holders, brush-rockers, slip-ring assemblies, signal transmission systems, pantograph strips, and current collectors. The company also offers isostatic and extruded graphite, carbon insulation products, carbon/carbon composite products, sintered silicon carbide products, and flexible graphite. In addition, it offers fuses, DC protection products for electric vehicles and batteries, cooling solutions, bus bars, high speed fuses, and aluminum electrolytic and film capacitors; and IEC and UL/CSA low voltage general purpose fuses and fusegears, high and medium voltage fuses, and power transfers for rail vehicles, as well as surge protection, lightning protection, and power monitoring products. The company serves energy, electronics, transportation, corrosive chemicals, and process industries, as well as other markets comprising building, elevator, defense, HVAC, and outdoor LED lighting markets.
