Its fleet consists of dry bulk carriers for the transportation of iron ore, coal, grain, wood, wood chips, cement, fertilizer, and salt; crude oil tankers; product tankers that transport refined petroleum products, such as gas oils, naphtha, and gasoline; chemical tankers that transport liquid chemical products; methanol tankers that transport methanol; and LPG tankers that transport liquefied petroleum gas; and liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers. The company's fleet also includes specialized car carriers that transport passenger cars and construction machinery; containerships that transport electric products, automotive parts, clothes, furniture, food products, and other products; streaming coal carriers; and ferries and coastal RoRo ships. It operates 857 vessels, including 337 dry bulkers; 173 tankers; 83 LNG carriers; 7 offshore business vessels; 119 car carriers; 14 ferries and coastal RoRo ships; 91 containerships; and 2 other vessels, as well as a cruise ship. In addition, the company operates container terminals in Japan and internationally; floating storage and regasification units; and floating production, storage, and offloading systems, as well as offers logistics services, such as air and ocean freight forwarding, trucking, warehousing, and heavyweight and oversized cargo transport.
